The plans are aspirational – we are aiming for our very best, most wonderful idea of what/who First Universalist can and should be in the next 3–5 years. Strategic Planning Update and Talkback

We have a plan! Well, a draft plan that we will take to the congregation at our next Congregational Meeting on October 25th—if the congregation gives it a thumbs up, it will go to the Board, who will begin planning implementation.
But first we’d like to share it with everyone and, as promised, give you opportunities for talkback. Here’s what we have planned:
- Where’s the Plan?: The draft Strategic Plan is HERE. We also have printed copies available in Friendship Hall. Please read it so that you can give us your reactions. We are particularly interested in what part(s) really resonate with you, any parts that you might be interested in being involved with once we get to implementation, and any other comments you might have.
Keep in mind that it is the Board’s responsibility to create a plan for implementation, so you won’t see action steps at this point. We’ve identified themes and strategies based on all the input you gave us during focus groups; we are also recommending that we move to a rolling 3-year planning model so that we can continuously evaluate progress and adapt as necessary to a rapidly changing world.
